Post Formats settings of our WordPress Theme

All of our theme support post formats. The supported formats are Aside, Gallery, Link, Image, Quote, Video, Audio, Chat. In the post edit area you will see all supported formats list like the image below.

You need to select a format to create/write a blog post. Now you will get the other helpful information of all formats below.

1. Standard

This is the default format of the post.

2. Aside

Typically styled without a title. Similar to a Facebook note update.

3.Gallery

A gallery of images. The post will likely contain a gallery. Adding Gallery is very easy with our theme. First, select the gallery format and you will see a new meta box under the text editor. See the image below.

Now click on the “Create Gallery” button and create the gallery for the post.

4. Link

A link to another site. It is useful if you want to link a post to another website. For the link format, you need to select the link format. After selecting you will see a metabox below the text editor. See the image below.

5. Image

The image format is simple like the standard post format. You just need to add a featured image.

6. Quote

The post Title will be the author name of the Quote and the Post content will be the Quote content. Also, You can add the source URL of the Quote. To add the source URL you need to put the full URL including “http://” in the meta box below the text editor.

7. Video

You can load HTML5 video or OEMBED video. First select the video post format and you will see a meta box called “Video: Post Format”.

Embeds Video: Put your Embeds code or the link of the video page that is supported by WordPress Embeds

HTML5 Video: Enter the full URL of the audio file including http:// you need three formats of the Video MP4, OGV, and MOV. Also, add a featured image for the poster.

8. Audio

You can load HTML5 audio or OEMBED audio. First, select the audio post format and you will see a meta box call “Audio: Post Format”.

Embeds Audio: Put your Embeds code or the link of the audio page that is supported by WordPress Embeds

HTML5 AUDIO: Enter the full URL of the audio file including http:// you need two formats of the audio MP3 and OGG.  Also, add a featured image for the poster.

9. Chat

Use your own chat transcript.
