There are two ways to install a WordPress theme – manually with an FTP client, or automatically through the upload feature in the WordPress dashboard. Below you will see both options.
Installing a Theme Through the WordPress Dashboard
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard and go to Appearance → Themes. At the top of the page, click the tab “Install Themes.”
- Just below the headline, you will see a link that says “Upload” – click that.
- Click the browse button and find the theme .zip file from your local machine and then click the “Install Now” button.
Installing Theme With an FTP Client
- Download the theme zip file to your local machine and unzip it.
- Log onto your server through an FTP client, and find your site’s wp-content/themes directory. You will want to transfer the entire theme folder to that directory.
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard, and go to Appearance → Themes. There you will see screenshots of the themes that are available for you to use. Click on the theme title (or theme screenshot) for the theme you wish to activate. A preview of the theme will be shown, and then you can click the Activate link in the top right of the preview window.
You can Upload an image to use as your logo to fill this location of the theme within the Appearance-> Customize -> General -> Site Identity. There you will also find option to upload an image to use as your favicon.
To manage the address of the header you need to go Appearance-> Customize -> Header & Footer-> Header Address. Here you will see all available option of the address. If you are FRO user of the theme you can enable or disable the address of the header and change the icon if needed.
Header Phone Number
To manage the address of the header you need to go Appearance-> Customize -> Header & Footer-> Header Phone Number. If you don't want to the phone number just make the field blank.
Header Open Time
To manage the address of the header you need to go Appearance-> Customize -> Header & Footer-> Header Open Time. Here you will see all available option of the open time. If you are FRO user of the theme you can enable or disable the openTime of the header and change the icon if needed.
Header Social Icons
To manage the address of the header you need to go Appearance-> Customize -> Header & Footer-> Header Social Icons. Here you will see all available option of social icons. If you are FRO user of the theme you can enable or disable social icons if needed.
The theme come with 7 home page sections. Each section can be customize via Theme Customizer. Go Appearance-> Customize and you will see the home page sections with "Home:" prefix. The sections are..

Each section have a Settings Tab. It hold some settings of the sections. Here you can enable or disable the section. Also you can add background, padding, css class and other settings.
Some Sections have another tab "Colors". It hold text and border colors of the sections.

Create a new page and name it "Blog" also create another new page and call it "Home". Now go to Settings -> Reading. In the reading settings, change Front page displays setting. Set Home page as front page and post page as blog page. For more clear idea please see the image below.
To change footer copyright text you need to go Appearance-> Customize -> Header & Footer-> Site Footer.

If you are using the PRO theme you will be able to use all setting. A pro theme user can change widget layout, Remove Theme Credit Text, enable or disable widgets.
To add content you need to go to the widget settings page and add widgets.
To edit the font size and use google font please GO Appearance-> Customize -> Typography.
Updating a theme is very easy. But if you have customization on the theme all will lost. So before update the theme make a backup of your old theme. We recommended that you will do all customization in the child theme, so you can update the theme without any losing any customization.
Please note: It’s recommended that you make a backup of the theme prior to Updating BackupBuddy is recommended to backup and restore your whole site.
From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Themes. Activate a different theme, choose delete files for your theme, then upload the new theme and activate.
